I get an Activation Failed message every time I try to activate my product key. Why?

The most common cause of the Activation Failed message when activating a Surfer or Grapher license is due to security software blocking the Golden Software activation server address.  Please ask the IT department to white-list "golden.prod.sentinelcloud.com" for both HTTP and HTTPS to resolve this error.

If white-listing the Golden Software activation server address does not resolve the error, please click the Create support file link in the Licensing dialog and contact us with this information.
