Renewing Software maintenance
You can manually renew your software maintenance at any point before or after the expiration date. When you renew, you will get all new features, access to our superior technical support team, the ability to use pre-release versions, and much more.
If you have a Golden Software estimate:
- Login to your My Account profile at myaccount.goldensoftware.com.
- Once logged in, click Purchases | Estimates
- Select the estimate from the list
- Click Review and Place Order
- On the Review Your Order screen, enter your payment information, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and click Submit
Renew manually:
- Log in to My Account at http://myaccount.goldensoftware.com/
- Click on My Products.
- Locate the product in the product list.
- Click the Renew Now Through <date> for $XXX.XX link to add the renewal to your cart.
- Continue adding items to your cart, if necessary.
- Click the View Cart button.
- Proceed to checkout.
Upon completing your purchase, the maintenance renewal date will be extended the number of years purchased from the renewal date, not the date of the purchase.
If you are more than one year past your renewal date, you will need to pay for two years of maintenance to catch up. The "Renew now" link will automatically show the number of years of needed to bring the license to current. If you are more than three years past your renewal date, the "Renew now" link will not appear and you will need to purchase a new software license. The price of your new software license includes one free year of maintenance.
Renewing a Software Subscription
The steps to renew a software subscription are similar to renewing perpetual software maintenance. By default, software subscriptions are set to auto-renew meaning if you have a card on file, you will be charged on your next billing date.
If your software subscription has lapsed, meaning the subscription was cancelled and the original subscription end date has passed, you can renew or restart your subscription by following the steps below:
- Log in to My Account at http://myaccount.goldensoftware.com/
- Click on My Products.
- Locate the product in the product list.
- Click the Re-Activate Software to add the renewal to your cart.
- Continue adding items to your cart, if necessary.
- Click the View Cart button.
- Proceed to checkout.
If your software subscription was cancelled prior to the renewal date but you would like to renew the subscription again prior to the renewal date, you will not have to go through a checkout process. You will only need to click the Re-Activate Software button in the Overview tab of your product and your card on file will be charged on the next billing date.
