  2. Go to System & Security > Windows Firewall > Advanced Settings

  3. Here, you will create two new rules: an Inbound Rule and an Outbound Rule

Creating an Inbound Rule:

  1. Click on 'Inbound Rules' on the left sidebar, and then ‘New Rule’ on the right sidebar
  2. Select 'Port' and click ‘Next’
  3. Choose 'UDP' and specify the local port as 5093
  4. Select ‘Allow the connection’ and click ‘Next’
  5. Ensure the rule is applied to Domain, Private, and Public by checking all options and click ‘Next’
  6. Name the rule (e.g., "UDP 5093 Inbound") and provide an optional description for future reference

Creating an Outbound Rule:

  1. Click on 'Outbound Rules' on the left sidebar, and then ‘New Rule’ on the right sidebar
  2. Follow steps 2 through 5 from the Inbound Rule creation process above, ensuring to name the rule appropriately (e.g., "UDP 5093 Outbound")
