Converting a georeferenced image file to a georeferenced grid fild

    Hi Bill,

    It is possible to use an image as a grid and create a contour map.  However, when this is done the Z values are the numeric representation of the contour fill and line colors.  Since you are not concerned what the Z values are, I believe this will still work for you.  To create a contour map from a georeferenced image file, complete the steps below.

    1. Click Home | New Map | Contour.
    2. In the Open Grid dialog, click in the Files of type field and select All Files.
    3. Navigate to and select the georeferenced image and click Open.
