    Hi Inge,

Thank you for uploading the data. The issue with the wells not appearing can be resolved by changing the Well Name (ID) column to Column B. After doing so, all of the records for each well will have the same ID and the well paths will plot.

    Thanks!

    Hi Inge,

Thank you for posting on the Voxler Community forum. From the screen shots you posted, it looks like you may have not loaded your data completely correct. In order for me to diagnose this further, please upload your VOXB and well data files here so I can take a closer look.

    Thanks!

    Hi Drew,

Thank you very much, I succeeded in creating the paths! Now, however, I have a follow-up questions about the interval data. I want to show the intervals of column J (I uploaded new data). Am I doing something wrong here?

    Kind regards, Inge

The intervals I want to show are filters that are located at a certain depth. For instance, for well-ID 303 there are five filters (in meters in depth):

I first thought that problems may occur because data is missing between the filters. I added some rows with in between intervals, such as 0-7, 8-14 etc. but this didn't work out.

I hope you can help me!

Sorry to bother again.. Is it possible to plan a short Skype meeting? I have some additional questions about the gridder module and the height fields.

    Hi Inge,

Thanks for posting your follow-up questions. When adding a the interval data to the wells, it works well to create a separate From/To table and import that into the project. For example, I create a new table from your existing data that has the Well ID, From, To, and PER data columns:

This table can be imported and attached to the WellData module using these settings in the Property Manager:

This will result in the wells looking like this:

You can download the VOXB and interval table here so you can see how this was all put together by clicking this link: https://goldensoftware.sharefile.com/d-saf634e474034e3c9

I would be more than happy to have a screen share session with you to answer the rest of your questions. Please send and email to drew@goldensoftware.com so we can schedule the meeting.

    Thanks!

I just follow the tutorial and tried with my own data. I got the same problem and tried different ways, still not showing any well rending.

    Hi Xiang,

Thank you for your post! The reason the wells are not showing is because XYZ Path requires additional information. To use XYZ Path you need many sample points down the well. You can see an example of this in the Samples folder in the worksheet Sample Well Data.dat. I would recommend reviewing the articles below to see what information is needed for each table type that can be used to render your wells:

If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@goldensoftware.com. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thank you,

    Brittany
