Thanks Drew, have uploaded a modest sized file which works OK in Didger 4 and Surfer 13 but not (for me) in Didger 5. Thanks / Dave

Thanks Drew, apologies for maybe using loose terminology. Fully understand that its just 'numerical' information in the co-ordinates, but that's all I need as all my images are in the same co-ordinate system (OSGB36 / OSTN02 or OSTN15 as it happens), I won't be doing any co-ordinate conversion or further geo-referencing. So, what I was hoping was that Didger 5 would pick up the co-ordinates in the same way as Didger 4 did and Surfer still does.... Thanks / Dave

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for posting your issue. Didger 5 should pick up the spatial reference information from the header of the TIF, just like Surfer does, Can you please upload a copy of your files to the following link so we can diagnose the issue? Please upload your files here: https://goldensoftware.sharefile.com/r-rfd86ffe49c64cf9a.

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for uploading the image. I am not sure you sent the right one as the image does not import into Didger 4 with the spatial referencing information. It does import into Didger 4 with the correct location coordinates (and Surfer), but no spatial referencing info is imported. To see this when importing in the Didger 4, you are prompted for the projection and coordinate system. A similar thing is happening in Surfer, where the location coordinates are used for the image (no spatial reference info as far as projection or system). Just for clarification, would you like Didger 5 to pick up the same information (locating coordinates)?

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for the clarification on what you are expecting the behavior to be. I will add your comments to our database and hopefully we can get this fixed in one of the next updates. I agree with you here on expecting to see the same behavior in Didger 5 that was in Didger 4 (and Surfer).

    Thanks!

    Drew
