Easily draw correlations between multiple plots on the same graph with shared grid lines! If you have multiple plots in a single graph that share one axis and have unique axes for the other variable, you can display grid lines on the shared axis and have them extend over the other axes.
- Select the axis whose grid lines you want to share. For example, if you have plots stacked vertically on one another with one X axis and multiple Y axes, select the X axis.
- On the Line page in the Property Manager, check the box next to Major tick grid lines, Minor tick grid lines, or Worksheet grid lines (depending on which grid lines you wish to display).
- Check the box next to Share grid lines.
- If there is space between your plots and you want the grid lines to extend through that space, check the box next to Lines between axes.
X axis grid lines are extended across three Y axes to emphasize the similarities and differences between the plots.
