You may notice a new Notifications pane docked with the Worksheet Manager in the newest release of Grapher.

This pane will be used to display messages from Golden Software to our users. If you have an unread message, you'll see a little green dot on the notifications Notifications flag in the upper right corner of the application:

If you have an important unread message, such as an update notification, you will see a red dot instead of a green dot.  

To hide the Notifications pane, click the X in the upper right corner of the pane. To show the pane, click the Notifications flag.

You can dismiss non-important notifications by clicking the Dismiss link for those specific messages. Important notifications cannot be dismissed, but will expire after a specific amount of time.

To update the program from the Notifications pane, click the Update Now! link in the update message to check for available updates.
