Multiple data, graphic, base or grid files can be opened at once when creating new Map or adding Map layers. This feature allows you to create multiple maps and map layers at once, giving you big time savings! To do so:

1. Click Home | New Map | <Map Type> or Home | Add to Map | Layer | <Layer Type>.
2. When the Import dialog opens, simply CTRL-click or SHIFT-click to select multiple files of the same type.
3. Click OK to load the files. These will either be imported into separate Map frames, or imported into separate layers in the same Map frame, depending on which option you selected in Step 1.

Selecting multiple files when adding a Contour layer will create multiple contour layers.
