Grapher User Interface

Before diving into any specific features it is important to take a tour of Grapher's user interface to understand how to access commands, create graph objects, and adjust object properties.

Data Formatting in Grapher

The next step in most graph making journeys is to organize and format your data.  This can be done in your favorite worksheet program such as Excel or directly in Grapher.

Creating a Graph

Now that you have your data organized and formatted you can create your graph.  Grapher supports over 70 graph types that can each be created by clicking your desired graph type from the Home | New Graph section in the ribbon.  If you're unsure of which graph to use, check out the video below for a summary and preview of all available plot types.

Customizing Your Graph

Now that your graph is created the real fun begins.  Grapher offers unparalleled customization options so that you have full control over the final presentation of your data.

Sharing your Results

Finally, you'll want to save your work and add the finished graph to the report, paper, or presentation that you're working on.
