To mirror a drawn object in Surfer, you need to apply a transform using the Home | Selection | Transform command. This command will open up the Transform dialog. This dialog allows you to read, set, and reset the six page transformation parameters associated with the selected object. These six parameters allow for four distinct transformations: scale, shear, rotation, and offset. To mirror a draw object, you will want to adjust the x or y offset.
The X Offset specifies the horizontal translation (in page units). A positive X Offset shifts the object to the right, a negative X Offset shifts the object to the left. The Y Offset specifies the vertical translation (in page units). A positive Y Offset shifts the object up, a negative Y Offset shifts the object down.
To mirror a drawn object in Surfer:
- Select the object.
- Click Home | Selection | Transform.
- In the Transform dialog, if you want to mirror x, set the X Scale to -1. If you want to mirror y, set the Y Scale to -1.
- Click OK.
