Why isn't my converted file georeferenced?

There are a few reasons that converted files are not georeferenced:

  1. The original file was not georeferenced.
The converter cannot georeference a file that was unreferenced to begin with.

  2. The coordinate system for the imported file was not properly set.
Click the Import Options button () in the Options column for your uploaded file. If your georeferencing information is internal to the uploaded file, toggle Embedded Reference Information in the Coordinate System section. If the georeferencing information is in a separate file like a PRJ or World file, toggle External Reference File and then make sure to upload that file.

  3. The coordinate system for the exported file was set to "unreferenced".
Click the Export Options button () in the Options column for your uploaded file. In the Coordinate System section, either toggle Embedded Reference Information to embed referencing information in the output file, or toggle External Reference File and then choose to export a GSR2, PRJ, or World file with georeferencing information for your output file.
