Can my Grapher axis show labels every day and for various times?

Grapher allows the major and minor tick marks to be displayed with different formats. This allows the major tick label to be displayed with one format, such as date and the minor tick label to be displayed with another format, such as time. To display your axis with multiple formats:
  1. Create your graph as normal, using the Graphs | Create command.
  2. Click on the date/time axis to select it.
  3. In the Property Manager, click on the Tick Labels tab.
  4. Click the + next to Major Labels, if needed.
  5. Change the Offset to 0.000 inches, so that the label appears directly at the end of the tick mark.
  6. Click the + next to Format, if needed.
  7. Scroll down and click the Select button next to the Date/time format option.
  8. Select the appropriate Predefined date/time formats option and click Insert. If the format you want is not listed, delete the existing text in the Date/Time format (edit to change) box. Type the desired text. For instance, if you want a year, you can type yyyy. If you want a month, you can type mmm or mmmm. If you want a month and day, you can type MMMM-dd or MM/dd. Click OK when the box contains the correct format.
  9. If the date or year should occur only once and between tick marks (indicating a range for that value), check the box next to Between ticks.
  10. Click the + next to Minor Labels, if needed.
  11. Check the box next to Show labels to display minor tick mark labels.
  12. Click the + next to Format, if needed.
  13. Scroll down and click the Select button next to the Date/time format option.
  14. Select or type the desired date/time format. For instance, if you want hours and AM/PM, you could type h TT. Click OK when the format is correct.
  15. Click on the Tick Marks tab.
  16. Click the + next to Major Ticks section, if needed.
  17. If desired, increase the Length to a longer line, to more fully enclose the year or date.
  18. Check the box next to the Use date/time spacing option.
  19. Click the Every Year button next to Date/time spacing.
  20. Set the interval for the major tick marks. This can be 1 Year, 1 Month, 1 Day, etc. The major tick marks should now be showing a tick mark every interval across the entire date (or year).
  21. Click the + next to Minor Ticks.
  22. Check the box next to the Use date/time spacing option.
  23. Click the Every Year button next to Date/time spacing.
  24. Set the interval for the minor tick marks. This can be 1 Month, 1 Hour, 6 Hour, etc. The minor tick marks should now be showing minor marks and labels across every interval.

Display major tick marks across a range, such as a date, and minor tick marks at specific intervals, such as times.
