To change the walls of any 3D graph, you can change the properties for the axis associated with it. The bottom wall is controlled by the X Axis. The left wall is controlled by the Y Axis. The back wall is controlled by the graph.
To change the bottom wall or left wall:
- Click on the X Axis 1 or Y Axis 1 in the Object Manager to select it.
- To change the wall color:
- In the Property Manager, click on the Axis tab.
- Click the + next to Wall Fill.
- Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
- To change the grid line color:
- In the Property Manager, click on the Line tab.
- Click on the + next to 3D Grid Line Properties, if needed.
- Click on the + next to Major line properties or Minor line properties.
- Change the Color to the desired color. Note that the grid color controls the grid lines for the entire axis, both on the bottom or left wall and on the back wall.
To change the back wall color:
- Click on the Graph 1 to select it.
- In the Property Manager, click on the Fill tab.
- Click the + next to Back Wall Fill Properties, if needed.
- Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
In Grapher 12 and earlier versions:
To change the bottom wall or left wall:
- Click on the X Axis 1 or Y Axis 1 in the Object Manager to select it.
- In the Property Manager, click on the 3D Settings tab.
- To change the wall color:
- Click the + next to Wall fill style.
- Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
- To change the grid line color:
- Click on the + next to Major line properties or Minor line properties.
- Change the Color to the desired color. Note that the grid color controls the grid lines for the entire axis, both on the bottom or left wall and on the back wall.
To change the back wall color:
- Click on the Graph 1 to select it.
- In the Property Manager, click on the Back Wall tab.
- Click the + next to Back Wall Fill Properties.
- Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
