Change Graph Wall Properties for Any 3D Graph in Grapher

Grapher supports the creation of 3D graphs. For 3D graph types, the X Axis controls the bottom surface; the Y axis controls the left wall, and the back wall is controlled by the graph. You can use the Property Manager to change the walls of any 3D graph and its associated axis properties.

To change the bottom wall or left wall:

  1. Click on the X Axis 1 or Y Axis 1 in the Object Manager to select it.
  2. To change the wall color:
    1. In the Property Manager, click on the Axis tab.
    2. Click the + next to Wall Fill.
    3. Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
  3. To change the grid line color:
    1. In the Property Manager, click on the Line tab.
    2. Click on the + next to 3D Grid Line Properties, if needed.
    3. Click on the + next to Major line properties or Minor line properties.
    4. Change the Color to the desired color. Note that the grid color controls the grid lines for the entire axis, both on the bottom or left wall and on the back wall.

To change the back wall color:

  1. Click on the Graph 1 to select it.
  2. In the Property Manager, click on the Fill tab.
  3. Click the + next to Back Wall Fill Properties, if needed.
  4. Change the Foreground color to the desired color.
