Yes, you can convert the X and Y’s for your grid from feet to meters using** Grids | Calculate | Transform**. It is a two-step process though.

To do this, the first step is to translate the origin of the grid from feet to meters.

- Click
**Grids | Calculate | Transform**. - In the
**Grid Transform**dialog select your grid file by clicking the Browse button. Before you click*Open*, in the*Grid Info*area, note the*xMin*and*yMin*values. These are the coordinates of the origin in the original units, feet in this case. - On a piece of paper or in Excel, divide these values by 3.28084. These are the new coordinates of the origin in meters.
- Find the difference between the coordinates of the origin in meters and the original coordinates in feet. This is the "offset".
- Click
*Open*. - In the
**Grid Transform**dialog, select*Offset*for the*Operation*. - Enter the offset calculated above for the
*X Offset*and*Y Offset*. - Click
*OK*.

The second step is to scale the rest of the coordinates in the grid file from feet to meters.

- Click
**Grids | Calculate | Transform**. - In the
**Grid Transform**dialog select your grid file by clicking the Browse button. - For the
*Operation*, choose*Scale*. The*Scale*option multiples the X and Y ranges by a factor. - For the
*X Scale*and*Y Scale*, enter 0.3048 (which is how many meters in a foot). - Change the
*Output Grid File,*if you desire. - Click
*OK*and the transformed grid is created. This is the grid file in meters.
