The FaceRender module’s bocks are composed of un-interpolated data from the input lattice. A FaceRender block represents one unit in each of the X, Y, and Z directions. Component values are represented by different colors in the FaceRender. The display of the blocks for the FaceRender is controlled by the Opacity Mapping section of the Colormap Editor. For the FaceRender module, blocks are displayed when they have an Opacity setting = 1.000, an Opacity setting of 0.000 will make a block or range of blocks not display. There is not partial transparency or opacity for the blocks in the FaceRender module; any Opacity setting greater than 0.000 will result in blocks being displayed.
For example with the FaceRender module selected in the Network Manager, the display can be controlled by clicking the ellipsis button next to Colormap in the Property Manager. When the Colormap Editor opens, all of the data range is set to Opacity = 1.000 so all of the blocks are displaying:
If the Opacity Mapping section of the Colormap Editor is adjusted so that all of the data below a specific value is mapped to Opacity = 0.000 those blocks below the specified value do not get displayed:
