What is the difference between Text and Annotation Modules in Voxler?

Both modules are stand alone modules that can be used to display 2D text strings, such as a title or label, in Voxler. Text and Annotation modules differ by the way they are anchored to the screen or model. The Annotation module is always aligned parallel with the bottom of the screen. When the scene is rotated, the text from the Annotation module is stationary and will not rotate with the model. The Annotation module is commonly used for titles.

The Text module is anchored to a 3D anchor point that is specified in the Property Manager. When Voxler’s scene gets rotated the contents of the Text module will rotate with the model. Text modules are commonly used for labeling positions and objects within the model.
