Set the coordinate system for a data file in Voxler's Worksheet so it is remembered

KB no longer maintained - Voxler is a retired product. Golden Software retired products are still supported, but no longer receive new features or updates. Many of Voxler's features are moving to Surfer . Please contact support@goldensoftware.com with any questions.
Set the data file coordinate system by opening the data file in the Voxler worksheet and using the worksheet's Data | Assign Coordinate System command.
  1. Click File | Open.
  2. Choose your data file and click Open.
  3. Click Data | Assign Coordinate System.
  4. Select your coordinate system and click OK.
  5. Click File | Save to save the file to the same name and location, or click File | Save As to save the file to a different name and/or location.
The spatial reference information is saved in an external GSR2 file. Each time you use the data file (e.g. to create a grid or a post map) in another Golden Software application that supports projections, the coordinate system will automatically be applied.
