"Invalid Handle" and "Unexpected Format" errors when opening a PJT file

The "Invalid Handle" and "Unexpected format" error messages seen when attempting to open PJT files in Didger are caused by conflicting scanner or digital camera drivers. Please perform the following steps:

1. Go to File | Check for Update to make sure you are using the most recent version of Didger.
2. Close Didger and then open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Didger installation directory
3. Open the Didger.ini file in a text editor such as Notepad or WordPad
4. Under the [Settings] section at the top of the file, please set the "Disable Scanner" line to 1, so that is looks like:
            Disable Scanner=1;
5. If you do not see the "Disable Scanner" line under the [Settings] section, please manually type it in.
6. Save and close the INI file.
7.
Restart Didger and try to open the PJT file. Does it work now? If so, you can stop here.
8. If it still does not work, close Didger and reopen the Didger.ini file.
9. Under the [Settings] section at the top of the file, please set the "Disable Wintab" line to 1, so that is looks like:
            Disable Wintab=1;
10. If you do not see the "Disable Wintab" line under the [Settings] section, please manually type it in.
11. Save and close the INI file and restart Didger.
