Georeferenced TIF files commonly save the spatial reference information in an ESRI World File (*.tfw). You cannot directly convert the projection of the image georeferenced with a TFW file because TFW files do not contain any projection information. TFW files only contain coordinate information.
In Didger 5, go to File | Import, select the TIF file and click Open. In the Assign Coordinate System dialog, select the correct projection and settings and click OK. The image is imported with the coordinates from the TIF file and in the selected projection.
In Didger 4, go to File | Import, select the TIF file and click Open. In the Tagged Image (TIFF) Spatial References dialog, select ESRIWorld file for the Georeference Sources and click OK. In the Specify Image Projection dialog, select the correct projection and settings and click OK. The image is imported with the coordinates from the TIF file and in the selected projection.
