If you are not running the latest version of Grapher, there are a few ways you can get up to speed depending on the status of your license. See the options for all situations below:
- You are an active software maintenance user (Not sure if you have active maintenance? Learn more here).
- Your software maintenance has expired
- You have a serial number (Learn more about serial numbers here)
If you are running the current major release of Grapher, minor updates are available for free by clicking the File | Online | Check for Update command within Grapher. If you have a concurrent-use license, please ensure the license has been updated on the server: How do I upgrade my concurrent-use license to the latest version if my maintenance is active? before trying this command on the client machines.
To use the File | Online | Check for Updates command, we recommend running the program as administrator in order to ensure that the update process will be given permission to complete the download and installation. To run Grapher as administrator, right click the Grapher desktop icon or application EXE and click Run as administrator.
If you experience any problems with this command or would like to download the full version of the updated software, you can log into the My Account portal on the Golden Software website, click the My Products button, and then click on your license key. In the expanded license information, click Download Grapher installer.
You can renew your maintenance online! See how here: How Do I Upgrade To The Latest Version If My Maintenance Is Active?
To access the latest version of Grapher, you will need to purchase an upgrade: How Do I Purchase An Upgrade?. Take advantage of this while you can! Upgrades will no longer be offered starting January 1, 2021.
