Get the latest version of Grapher

If you are not running the latest version of Grapher, there are a few ways you can get up to speed depending on the status of your license. See the options for all situations below: 

1. You are an active software maintenance user (Not sure if you have active maintenance? Learn more here). 
2. Your software maintenance has expired 
3. You have a serial number  (Learn more about serial numbers here) 

To find the version you are currently running, click the File | About Grapher command in the program. To update to the newest version you are licensed for, click the File | Online | Check for Update command in the program.

You are an active maintenance user:

Minor updates are free for whichever version you are running, regardless of whether that version is current or not. If you have a newer version with active maintenance, upgrades are also free. For both cases, click File | Online | Check for Update (or Help | Check for Update) to update to the newest version you are licensed for. If you have a concurrent-use license, please ensure the license has been updated on the server: How do I upgrade my concurrent-use license to the latest version if my maintenance is active? before trying this command on the client machines. 

To use the File | Online | Check for Updates command, we recommend running the program as administrator in order to ensure that the update process will be given permission to complete the download and installation.  To run Grapher as administrator, right click the Grapher desktop icon or application EXE and click Run as administrator.  

If you experience any problems with this command or would like to download the full version of the updated software, you can log into the My Account portal on the Golden Software website, click the My Products button, and then click on your license key.  In the expanded license information, click Download Grapher installer.

Your software maintenance has expired

You have a serial number

If you are using Grapher 12 or older you will only be able to update to the latest minor update of your licensed Grpaher software version.  To do this, click File | Online | Check for update or Help | Check for update in the program. 

If you are unable to update from within the program, please email your registered Grapher serial number to graphersupport@goldensoftware.com. Once your serial number is verified, we will send you download instructions for the most recent version of your Grapher software version. To determine your serial number, click the File | About Grapher or the Help | About Grapher command. The serial number is listed in the dialog.
