Remove proportional XY scaling Surfer
The map scale can be adjusted in Surfer if the map's current scale or default scale is not appropriate. For example, when X and Y data cover vastly different data ranges, the map may appear as a single axis or line. This is because the X and Y axes are scaled proportionally by default.
You can change the scale of the map to expand the map in the thin direction. To change the scale of the map, follow these steps:
- Select Map in the Contents window.
- In the Properties window, click the Scale tab.
- Uncheck Proportional XY Scaling.
- Specify the Map units per in. or Length (page units) for the X Scale and/or Y Scale.
