Select/edit/move/copy/paste multiple items in a base map in Surfer

To select multiple objects in a Surfer base layer, copy or move individual objects in a base map, or query base layer objects, complete the following steps:
  1. Select the Base layer in the Contents window. The orange arrow indicates you can edit objects in the selected Base layer.

  2. Perform your editing functions. For example, you can copy and paste objects in the base layer, select one or more objects and use the Home | Clipboard | Duplicate command, use the drawing tools to add new objects to the base layer, select multiple items within the base layer, query the objects in the base layer, and move individual objects inside the base layer.
