There are many locations where you can find your registered Strater serial number or product key. With your registered serial number information complete, we will also be able to mail you announcements of upgrades and newsletters (if desired).
- Your Golden Software user account:
Log into your user account through our My Account portal, click the My Products button or link on the left, and your registered serial number or product key is displayed.
- Download instructions:
If you received a download only copy of your Golden Software product, the serial number was included with the download information that you received from our sales department.
- From within Strater:
Strater 1-4 allow you to determine your serial number by clicking Help | About Strater. Strater 5 allows you to determine your serial number by clicking File | About Strater. The About dialog box will show the serial number, as shown below.
Beginning with Strater 5.5, you can find your product key by clicking the File | License Info command. The Product Key for single user licenses is listed, as shown below.
Concurrent use licenses will display the license server name which manages and distributes your Strater license seats. The Golden Software License Administrator is required to view the product key and license information for this license type. See Where Can I Find My Product Keys And Activation ID's In The License Administrator? for information about retrieving the product key for a concurrent use license.
- Label on the installation CD sleeve:
Starting in 2011, the serial number is located on the sticker label on the installation CD sleeve.
- Registration card:
The serial number is on the registration card glued either on CD sleeve (for software purchased in late 2009 or 2010), or inside the front cover of your User's Guide, Getting Started Guide or Quick Start Guide (for software purchased before mid-2009). Please complete the registration card and return to Golden Software or register online at our web site.
