View LAS files in Strater

Yes. You can use Strater to display a line log from an LAS file in just a few steps:
  1. Click Log | Create Log | Line/Symbol.
  2. Click in the log pane area where you want your log to appear.
  3. If your LAS file has already been loaded, select the appropriate table from the Use Current Table list and then skip step 5. Otherwise, select the LAS file.
  4. Click Open.
  5. In the LAS Import Options dialog, set your desired import settings and then click Import.

 

The LAS data was imported into a depth data table and a line/symbol log was created using the first variable in the LAS file. You can change the variable the line log displays (and other properties) in the Property Manager.
