How can I add grid lines to my graph in Grapher?

Grid lines can be added to a graph by following these steps:
  1. Create the graph as normal using the appropriate Home | New Graph command.
  2. Click on the X Axis 1 in the Object Manager or in the plot window to select it.
  3. In the Property Manager, click on the Line tab.
  4. In the Grid Line Properties section, set the Parallel axis to the Y Axis 1.
  5. Check the box next to the Major tick grid line option.
  6. If you want grid lines at the minor tick marks, check the box next to the Minor tick grid line option.
  7. Click on the Y Axis 1 in the Object Manager or in the plot window to select it.
  8. In the Property Manager, click on the Line tab.
  9. In the Grid Line Properties section, set the Parallel axis to the X Axis 1.
  10. Check the box next to the Major tick grid line option.
  11. If you want grid lines at the minor tick marks, check the box next to the Minor tick grid line option.

If desired, you can also change the line properties for both major and minor grid lines in the Grid Line Properties section. This is also found on the Line tab of the Property Manager for each Axis object.
