How can I add grid lines to my graph in Grapher?

Grid lines can be added to a graph by following these steps:
  1. Create the graph as normal using the appropriate Graphs | Create command.
  2. Click on the X Axis 1 in the Object Manager or in the plot window to select it.
  3. In the Property Manager, click on the Grid Lines tab.
  4. Set the Parallel axis to the Y Axis 1.
  5. In the Major Lines section, check the box next to the At major ticks option.
  6. If you want grid lines at the minor tick marks:
    1. Click the + next to Minor Lines.
    2. Check the box next to the At minor ticks option.
  7. Click on the Y Axis 1 in the Object Manager or in the plot window to select it.
  8. In the Property Manager, click on the Grid Lines tab.
  9. Set the Parallel axis to the X Axis 1.
  10. In the Major Lines section, check the box next to At major ticks option.
  11. If you want grid lines at the minor tick marks:
    1. Click the + next to Minor Lines.
    2. Check the box next to the At minor ticks option.

 

If desired, you can change the line properties for the grid lines in the Major line properties section and Minor line properties section for each axis.
