Voxler’s HeightField module is designed to accept a single image input as an overlay, which can be draped over the 3D surface. Multiple images can be overlaid or draped over a single HeightField if the images are first merged together using a Merge module. Once the images have been merged, the connector from the Merge module can be connected to the HeightField module and the standard overlay options can be used.
When merging multiple images to use for an image overlay, the Network Manager set-up looks like this:
If the images appear blurry, the resolution can be increased in the Merge module that will produce an overlay with more detail. To increase resolution for the Merge module:
- In the Network Manager select the Merge module.
- Click the Geometry tab in the Property Manager.
- Expand the Resolution section.
- Increase the values next to Nx and Ny until you get an acceptable resolution for the overlay.
