How can I change the PID for all selected points at the same time in Didger?

How you change the PID for all points selected depends on which version of Didger you are using.

Didger 5:
Select all the points you wish, and in the Property Manager, type in the desired Primary ID. It will be entered for all points selected.

Didger 4:
Select all the points you wish, and in the Property Inspector, type in the desired Primary ID. It will be entered for all points selected.

Didger 3:
There is not a direct way in Didger 3 to select a number of imported points and change all their PIDs at the same time.

As a work around, you could:
  1. After you select the points in Didger, export the selected objects only to a DAT file.
  2. Delete those points from the Didger project file.
  3. Open the DAT file in Excel or another text editor and change the IDs to what you want them to be.
  4. Import the DAT file back into the Didger project (File | Import Data) to get those points back in with the changed IDs.
