In Grapher, the first two columns of numeric data are automatically used for the X and Y values. If the data contains recognized date formats, the axes are automatically formatted for date labels. Most of the time in Grapher, when you change the X or Y columns, the axis formatting changes to numbers. If the axis keeps the date labels and you want to show numbers instead, the axis can be manually changed. To do so:
- Click once on the axis to select it.
- In the Property Manager, click on the Labels tab.
- Click the next to the General section, if necessary.
- Uncheck the box next to the Use date/time format option.
Uncheck the Use date/time format box to return labels to numeric formatting.
The axis will now use numeric labels for the ticks.
