Specifying angles for symbols in a post map in Surfer

The angles in Surfer are plotted in a counter-clockwise direction while azimuth directions are usually given in a clockwise direction. To have the angles plotted correctly, you can either subtract your angle values from 360 or make them negative. Either way will give you the same result.

If you do not want to create another column in your data file and yet still label the points with the correct angle, choose to multiply your angles by -1, label them with this column, and then format the labels in absolute value.

An example SRF file (Post map angles.srf) and the data file used to create it (Book1.xls) is attached.
