How can I import an object into Strater?

The process for importing images and vectors into a borehole or cross section view are provided below for each version of Strater.
 
To import an object into Strater 5:
  1. Click File | Import Graphic, or click on the Import icon () in the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. In the Import dialog, select the desired image or vector file and click Open.
  3. The object will be imported directly into your view.

 

To import an object into Strater 4/Strater 3:

  1. Click File | Import, or click on the Import icon () in the toolbar.
  2. In the Import dialog, select the desired image or vector file and click Open.
  3. The object will be imported directly into your view.

 

To import an object into Strater 2:

  1. Click File | Import, or click on the Import icon () in the toolbar.
  2. Use the cursor to draw a rectangular area in which to import the object. A rectangle is drawn by clicking the left mouse button at one corner of the object location and then dragging the mouse to the opposite corner.
  3. Select a file in the Import dialog and then click Open.
  4. The file is imported. You can move and resize the imported object.
