How can I prevent my plot and grid lines from being drawn on top of my legend in Grapher?

If you have a legend that is currently overlapped by your plot or your axes grid lines, you can manipulate the legend fill and the drawing order to put the legend on top of everything else. To do this:

  1. Right click on the legend in the Object Manager.
  2. Click Order Objects | Move to Front from the context menu that appears.
  3. Click on the Fill tab in the Property Manager.
  4. Change the Pattern to Solid, the Foreground opacity to 100%, and the Foreground color to the desired fill color.

The legend now appears in front of everything else on the graph.
