How do I deactivate my single-user Golden Software license?

Golden Software's Strater, Surfer and Grapher programs offer two types of licensing: single user and concurrent use. The deactivation process is slightly different for single user and concurrent use licenses. Instructions for performing this process for single-user licenses can be found below.

Single user licenses

Single user licenses are activated on the user's computer and can be deactivated by clicking the File | License Info command and then clicking Deactivate License in the License Information dialog.

License activations can also be managed through our My Account portal. Follow the steps below to do this.

  1. Sign in to your account at If you haven't logged in before, use the instructions here to set up a password for your account, or these instructions to create a new account and register your product.
  2. Click the My Products button. If you do not see your product, make sure you have registered the license to yourself using the same email as your login.
  3. Click the desired product key in the list of products to expand the product information section.
  4. After the page refreshes, locate the appropriate Computer Name in the list of Activations and then click Deactivate.

Instructions for performing this process for concurrent licenses can be found here.
